Jamberry Nail Shields

Hello, hello!

Today's post will be my very first review of a product!  I recieved some samples of Jamberry nail shields from the lovely Kelly Baas, a Jamberry rep :)

Jamberry nail shields, nail wraps, review, Zoya Morgan, China Glaze Turned up Turquoise, pink, turquoise, stripes, polka dots, diamonds, nails, nail art, nail design, mani
Colors Used: Jamberry Nail Shields, Sally Hansen - White On, Zoya - Morgan, China Glaze - Turned Up Turquoise

I seriously love these nail shields and don't want to take them off... ever!

Two nail shields were plenty for both of my hands.  My middle and ring fingers are Jamberry while the rest of my nails are polished.  I tried to match the polish shades as closely as possible.  I did put a layer of base coat on my nails before starting because I'm particular in that way.  I made sure my nails were dry before starting my application...

The biggest difference between these and other nail strips is that these are vinyl.  This means they don't have an expiration date/won't dry out like other products do.

I followed the instructions to the letter and it was a cinch.  I was a bit concerned about whether the base coat would affect the outcome of the finish but they turned out beautifully :)  After I had the nail shields on, I did 2 coats each of White On, Morgan and Turned Up Turquoise on my left over naked nails.  I then used my dotting tool to layer Morgan and TUT in a cascading fashion on my thumb.

Once I was finished I top coated my polished nails and swiped a little bit of top coat on the free edges of the shields for extra security.  I work with my hands all day long and I wanted this mani to last a good while ;)  I wore these all day Thursday and they still look great!  The shields feel very secure.  Overall, this is definitely a product I would want to purchase (I also have read that you have the capability of creating your own design on the website.  How cool is that?!!)

  2. Wow I first thought your nail art was all nail polish then I read that it was nail stickers. How cool! They look so realistic too :)

    1. Right?!! Some wraps are just to thick or clunky looking. This really is my fave wrap to date :)

  4. I love how these look! I don't like when they clearly look like their stuck on or the design looks pixelated.
