Here Fishy Fishy!

Hiya!

I have a quick post today as I'm feeling a little under the weather still... bleh!  I was out shopping last weekend and found this really neat polish at H&M.  It's a blue jelly base with Holo stripe glitter in it.  I've never seen anything like it so naturally i had to pick It up lol.  It was awesome by itself but then i added some oceanic art on top for fun...

 

 Colors Used: H&M Glitter Nail Polish  - Blue, Elf - Flirty Fuchsia, Wet n Wild - Nerd Alert Screech, Essie - Bazooka, Love & Beauty - Purple

 

This is a photo of the polish before I doodled.  I applied 2 coats and a top coat

I had half a mind to do a Cookie Monster design, but I felt really compelled to do fish.  I don't know why lol.

 

 "I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy Come on, Squishy Come on, little Squishy..."

Neon Racer

Good evening, all!

I meant to post this morning but then... I had to file taxes.  I'm still upset about it.  But that's alright.  Anywhosy, this is a quick mani I did to test out a new neon polish I bought over the weekend...

Colors Used: OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls, China Glaze - Rose Among Thorns

First let me apologies for the state of my nails.  I am currently rocking what my fellow nail lovers like to call "nubbins".  They're not as terrible as they could be, I still have a bit of free edge.  But I broke my index nail last week and had to shave down the rest to match.  I'm still a little sad about it :(

For this mani I did 2 coats of  BF Scales Walls and then 2 coats of Rose on my middle and ring fingers.  I had a little difficulty getting the coats to be even with Rose.  The formula is very reminiscent of a stain.  But  i'm certainly going to work with this polish again.  I love the color!  Lastly I added the racing stripes.

I did clean-up in a bit of a hurry... whatevs!

Sissy's Springy Nails

Hello, hello, hello!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted!  My bad :\  Last week was really busy at work, plus my regular rehearsal schedule.  Aaaand we got a new bunny (en lieu of having a baby right now lol) so I haven't wanted to be on the computer, I've just been hanging out with her.  This is also the reason for the guest hands on my blog today.  I haven't been doing any nail art, oops!

I have twin sister-in-law's and the youngest of the two (by 3 mins I think?) wanted something fun on her nails for her trip to North Carolina.  This is what we came up with :)

 Colors Used: Finger Paints - Inkblot Blue, Julep - Scarlett

That ladybug turned out pretty darling.

I think clouds may be my new favorite nail art thing to do.  With just a little finagling of a medium sized dotting tool, you can get some cute and fluffy clouds :D 

I missed a spot cleaning up! *sigh* It's always something...

I shall try to manufacture more mani's this week for you, my lovely followers.  Thanks for stickin' around :)

Wild Shinies!

Hey there dolls!

It has been a crazy week and it's only Wednesday!!  I am so sleeeeppyyyyy ZZZZzzzzzzzz...

Well today's mani is a result of indecision and allergy meds lol...

 Colors Used: Love & Beauty - Strawberry, Julep - Amy, Color Club - Beyond the Mistletoe

The pictures are terrible but I think the mani is pretty fun!

It's very girly, I know.  But I'm running low on acetone and can't get to the store until friday so... blam!  I wanted something fun that I could rock for the rest of the week and feel alright about it lol.  The glitter is unbelievably shiny and has a pretty holo mix to it :)

Yay shinies :D

Church Mani: Pastel Polka

Hello lovelies!

It's a blustery day here in Orange County.  I just got off of work and I'm feeling incredibly lethargic.  I considered not posting at all because i just want to veg, but then I changed my mind.  Not posting would be absurd!  ;)

Well, I'm going to share my Easter Sunday nails.  As always my church nails are subdued and while I got a lot of compliments, I personally find them extremely boring haha...

 Colors Used: Love & Beauty - Beige, Julep - Blake, Wet n Wild - I Need A Refresh-Mint, JLB - 05

Yeah, they're fine.  Not great, not awful.  Just fine.

I did 2 coats of Beige and then used my large dotting tool to make my design.

This post was quick and to the point, just how I like it!  Lol.  I'm off now to go spend some quality time with my sissy-in-law :D
