Punkin's!

Hello dolls!

I have a quick and easy mani to share with you today... falling pumpkins!  I don't know what my obsession is with painting small things on my nails right now lol.  First acorns, then eyeballs, then skulls and now some pumpkins inspired by @clairelofthouse...

 Colors Used:  L'Oreal - The Queen's Ambition, Orly - Mayhem Mentality, Revlon - Lime Basil

I used all polishes for a change in this mani :)  I started with my black/silver glitter base, with 2 coats for coverage.

 I then took a medium sized dotting tool and started to place my pumpkins.  With a detail brush, I applied the stems and then I top coated.  Simple, right?

I'm sorry I've been MIA for the last couple of days.  After that epic KBShimmer post, my brain needed a bit of a break.  I've got one more simple Halloween mani to share with you on Friday a long with some more swatch posts...

Abstract Candy Corn!

Hello dolls!

I'm continuing on with my Halloween manis and I decided to try out a design I saw last year and absolutely loved.  It's called "Abstract Candy Corn" and I was inspired by the ever so talented Adventures in Acetone...

 Colors Used: Sally Hansen - White On, American Apparel - Manila, L'Oreal - The Muse's Inspiration

After the time consuming eyeball mani from yesterday I decided I wanted something simple.  I had considered sponging, but wasn't really feeling that mess haha, so I decided on striping instead :)

After applying my base coat of white,  I went back with my yellow polish and , using the brush, painted the top half of my nails yellow. I then went back thru with a striping brush and added my abstract-y middle.  Everything was top coated and... tada!  That;s all there is to it :D

Really loving the way this turned out!

Playing with Jellies

Hello lovelies!

Today I have a mani that started out as a fail but ended up being a winner!

Colors Used: L'Oreal - Jolly Lolly, Mango Mamma, Bananarama Love, Creme de Mint, Miss Pixie. Lilac Coolers, Julep - Hermione

I received the entire L'Oreal jellies collection for my birthday last month and I was so excited!  I decided I wanted to do a rainbow-y watercolor design with them.  Once I had it on tho, I didn't really like how some of the colors layered over each other.  The green and orange looked particularly like pond scum lol...

 

 I then said to myself, "Hey!  Remember when crackle was cool??".  So I pulled out a white crackle (Julep's Hermione) and went to town!  And I lurvs it!!

Winning!
